The wedding planning is really coming along. I talked to Meg for and hour and a half trying to put things in perspective; she is my bud. Since I am SO not a phone person, my right ear was all sweaty once we decided to hang up, LOL. Plus my voice cracked like a fourteen your old boy caught with his first Playboy in his lap-- since I’m alone most of the day, not used to talking very much. I dunno–I hate phones. I rather talk to you in person or email you. Is that sad?

I’m just weird.

Or normal.

I’ve just been making random things from Sculpey and sewing–that’s about it. And cleaning. And learning how to fucking bake. LOL. Eh, that and watching CNN for future explosions. Sigh.

Look at this!! I make things. (Warning grainy picts)

And my wonderful shoes Chuck bought me just for the hell of it. I heart Mary Janes. Especially if they are Emily Strange.

Not much of an update. Just been working on wedding stuff. Mmmm, now going to eat some brie.

Mmmm, brie and water wafers.

Not too social lately, but our four year anniversary was on the third/fourth of July and he bought me such a pretty orchid plant. Awww.

Not a great photo but I'll update later. I promise.

-I've been sketching more. Just odd little characters really. Nothing big.

-Watched the whole first season of LOST like, in a week and some change. At first we had Netflix send it but a friend of ours had the whole thing on DVD and let us borrow it. So we're all caught up and got to watch the rerun of episode one of season two this past Wednesday. Damn good show.

-Really been diggin photojournalism lately. I want to travel and take pictures of people just being natural...hell, I would be happy for people to model for me. But alas, I'm a shut in these days. :-P

-Planning the wedding slowly but surely. Since the company I worked for shut down and other things happend to set us back a little we're having it next year. We could have just run off to Vegas or something but I have it pictured in my head and don't want it any other way.

-I really miss my scattered friends.

-Once the lease is up in September we're (hopefully) moving to the Montrose area. Humble is nice I guess but BORING. Especially for someone who is used to walking everywhere. My front yard is Highway 59, not to mention the 737s and 777s landing every two minutes. My nightmares of planes crashing have stopped though. For now.

-The kitty cat we 'adopted', Siouxsie Anger, well, we thought that she was just gaining weight because she wasn't well fed on the streets. Nope! Little hooker got knocked up and gave birth last Friday. Four baby kittens! They are very very cute though. So flyers will be going up shortly. Ok, I have a question. Charley Gato was fixed like, a month before we found Siouxsie. Once they got used to one another we would find them trying to do it. Is there any way possible that HE could be the dad?? I mean, right after he was fixed, it wasn't until AFTER we adopted Siouxsie Anger that he stopped spraying. I think I need to call the vet and ask. Something tells me she wasn't preggos before we took her in. Plus there are two stripey kittens and two black kittens. Hmmmm.

-I've become this weird little housewife. I got so excited when I bought a new mop and cleaning supplies. Awful I tell ya.

Eh. Here look at something. I turned my sis into a Commie! LOL

Who Should Paint You: Andy Warhol

You've got an interested edge that would be reflected in any portrait
You don't need any fancy paint techniques to stand out from the crowd!

I don’t keep up with this thing anymore. Let’s see...I turned twenty-four last Wednesday and we went out for Japanese and air-hockey. I usually don’t keep up with my birthdays but considering I’ve officially entered hermithood I thought I should get out. I’ve finished about three projects this week and have more I need to scratch off my work list. I’ve been taking more pictures and thought I’ll pull a Cindy Sherman and do a series of self portraits that actually have some depth and some sort of theme that doesn’t revolve around me just fucking off. Hmmm, what else...my friend David and I are thinking about getting a film project going, which reminds me...I need to get a hold of him. My dad, C and I took a little weekend trip to San Antonio a few weeks back...errr, more like a month back and I met family I found on the internet while doing some genealogy stuff. Man, I have a loud ass family. I think I get my antisoocial nature from someone on my mom’s side–which is weird because my family is loud all around; on both sides. Anyway–that was neat and I had fun. I haven’t been to SA since the Howard Dean rally w/ Alex and Chuck a few years back. Of course this last trip was cut short because my dad’s cell kept blowing up and he’s a workaholic and we had to get back. Yesterday Alex and I hung out and of course when she left I got somewhat emotional...I’m going to miss ya but that just means I need to get a passport and take my jolly ass to the “land of fairies and elves.” LOL. So...oh yeah, I’m finally getting around to the last season of Six Feet Under via Netflix and OH MAN I love that show. Useless info. :-P

Ohh look, seaweed and Sushi!! (the sushi is Chuck’s...I’m a seaweed Nazi-Hog)

You scored as Materialist. Materialism stresses the essence of fundamental particles. Everything that exists is purely physical matter and there is no special force that holds life together. You believe that anything can be explained by breaking it up into its pieces. i.e. the big picture can be understood by its smaller elements.

Since I'm feeding the neighborhood cats nowadays, it was bound to happen. This is the new addition to our feline family:

Her name is Siouxsie Anger (the anger part comes from her dislike of Charley--at first, now they're two peas in a pod).

The Orange gato is doing SO much better since we started helping him. Those picts I posted-I realized after posting them- were so sad and I kinda wish I didn’t post them because of the severity of his bo-bos. :-( BUT he is doing sooo well and he guards our doorstep. ;-P Anyway, this week has actually been kinda cool. Wednesday we went to this: http://www.hmns.org/exhibits/special_exhibits/bodyworlds.asp with Alex and had some yummy dinner afterwards. Man it was awesome! Thursday though, we missed The Dropkick Murphys and the Horrorpops (sad face, I really digging the Horrorpops right now) but that’s okay. Yesterday we saw the remake of The Hills Have Eyes. Now, I have a evil dislike for Horror remakes, (except for Dawn of the Dead) but this one was actually quite awesome. Man, the sets were so cool. Anyway, my fav remake IS Dawn of the Dead but I recommend this one. We jumped a few times and there are charred mannequins and eerie outdated furniture. :-) Woo! Today we went to the zoo and would have stayed for the Japanese Garden and the CAM, but alas...girlie cramps. :-( Anyhoo, here are some snapshots I took before my batteries died. These are in NO way artistic but who cares. Animals!

We've 'adopted' a kitty cat that roams around the apartment complex. We feed and water him--and Charley-Gato is OBSESSED with him. He looks pretty beat up so we don't let them around one another. Not only are they both male but we don't want to get CG sick. We don't know how bad off Orange Kitty is but we looks pretty bad off. :-( Anyway, they talk to each other through a window in the livingroom which is very annoyingly cute. It's kind of hard to sleep with our cat talking to him at three in the morning though.
